We are delighted to announce that our guest speaker for the next social evening on Wednesday 3rd October, commencing at 20.00, will be Nick Robertson-Brown, winner of the Dive Show, Diver Professional Print Overseas competition in 2011.

Nick runs Frogfish Photography, based in Sale and is currently chair of the Northern Underwater Photography Group (NUPG). Those of you who subscribe to the monthly Sport Diver magazine may recognise Nick's name as being one of their regular contributors with both trip reports, photo tips and a recent article on animal behaviour written with his wife Caroline.

In what promises to be an extremely interesting evening we have asked Nick to include some tips on how to get the best results from our compact cameras, so this talk should also be of value to a great many of us. In addition to his regular contributions as underwater correspondent to a variety of magazines, Nick also runs underwater photography courses and New Horizons will be using Nick to run some workshops for us during 2013 so keep an eye out for those in the future.
