What is the Seal Team?

The PADI Seal Team programme is an exciting underwater activity-filled introduction to the world of diving. The PADI Seal Team program gives chilldren a chance to swim around underwater and experience adventure, discovery and thrills. It also provides parents or guardians with a structured program that lets their children develop skills, learn about the aquatic realm and have a lot of good, clean fun.

Getting on the Seal Team

To become official members of the PADI Seal Team, you must complete the first 5 of 15 AquaMissions.

These activities develop fundamental scuba skills and knowledge while preparing you for further adventure. You learn about diving by watching the PADI Seal Team video, through the PADI Seal Team AquaMission Activity Book and during predive briefings with your PADI Instructor.

Each AquaMission consists of a briefing, a skill session and a game or activity. Completing the pool dive and answering challenge questions in you PADI Seal Team AquaMission Logbooks earns you an AquaMission decal.

Finishing AquaMissions 1-5, which is equivalent to completing the skills in Confined Water Dive One from the Open Water Diver Course, means you are a PADI Seal Team member.

Receiving a PADI Seal Team member card recognises your accomplishments and allows you to work toward PADI Master Seal Team recognition.

MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR COURSE:

You will get a Seal Team Pack with your own:

• DVD
• Aqua Mission Activity Book
• Aqua Mission logbook
• PADI Seal Team member certificate and application card

Courses run one Saturday a month over five months and can be started at any point from the list below:

PREREQUISITES:

• Minimum Age: 8 years - Bubblemakers are welcome

COSTS:

• £139 for 5 Aquamissions
• £50 for your Seal Team Pack

ENROLMENT:

Complete and return the dive programme booking form from our links page and a Seal Team Statement (available from the dive centre) with your deposit of £50 plus £50 for the Seal Team Pack.

Master Seal Team Member

Start collecting your Speciality Aqua Missions and work towards becoming a Master Seal Team member.

These Speciality AquaMissions introduce you to new dive experiences and equipment. You will be able to learn about the creatures which live in the underwater world, develop underwater navigation skills to find your way around, take photographs with special underwater cameras and many more exciting new adventures.

Once you have completed 10 Speciality AquaMissions you will be able to become a Master Seal Team member.

Please Note - for the Snapshot Specialty, there is an additional charge £5 for camera and photographs
