Back in the Isle of Man...

A trip to the Isle of Man
23/09/2009
First, a cheap and nasty slur campaign is being run against us... we of course know that none of us can use, or in some cases have ever even seen, a pan. Not guilty your Honour! We lit up the barbie (no, not the plastic doll) and set fire to our victuals with delight... the evening's Lazy-boy Arm Chair Racing was a sight to behold (video evidence to follow) with Brian coming in a close second to Pikey Pete but by only a whisker! A steward's inquiry was called!
So, trip III for New Horizons and the best yet. With more basking sharks than ever, we wore the side of the rib out getting in and out of the water. Our skipper, Mike (bless!), nearly put his back out hauling us in and Tom stopped coming out with us for having to work so hard (by the way Tom, we like the haircut). After each exhausting day, even a supermarket trolley in Mike's back yard made a comfortable resting place within which a well earned brew was enjoyed... you know who you are!!!
Most excited sighting of the trip was (surprisingly) the RNLI Lifeboat Crew (for Janine anyway!). To cap it all the weather was good, the diving was superb, the skippering was excellent, and the house and hospitality was as fab as ever.
It's becoming a regular fixture on our dive trip list so we'll be back. P.S. Neil - don’t buy any more Carling, it'll still be here from this time.
Pete, Jan, Brian, Tony, Janine, Neil, Becky and Ian :-)
