A trip to St. Abbs, Scotland
14/09/2007
Yet again the company was fantastic and I would like to say well done to Steve for looking after young Jordan and Pete for briefing us and keeping the cogs well oiled for another fantastic NHDC dive trip.
Pete the skipper knows this area very well and dropped us off at some of the best dive locations around St.Abbs, here’s a description of my favourite:
“The Skelly”
The viz was around six metres, and we could see perfectly the wonders around us. The walls of the gullies were covered in orange and white dead men’s fingers, huge many coloured plumose and dahlia anemones, tiny nudibranchs, red sunstars, and at 25 metres, a carpet of brittle stars. This was one of the prettiest dives I have ever done.
