PADI Discover Scuba experience

The Course

The Discover Scuba experience is for complete beginners and gives you a taste of the excitement of breathing and swimming underwater. Held in a large, warm indoor pool with one of our professional instructors this is a great introduction to Scuba Diving and a thrill that you will never forget.

Course Outline

At poolside your professional instructor will conduct a short briefing for you to ensure you have a safe, fun experience and answer your questions. You will then be helped into your scuba equipment followed by shallow water practice. Very soon you will feel the exhilaration of breathing and swimming underwater and your confidence will increase. When you are ready the instructor will take you down to the deep end to experience the thrill and freedom of being weightless. 

After your experience your instructor will explain to you how to continue your scuba adventures.

Course Duration/Schedules

The Discover Scuba experience lasts about 2 hours and we offer them on a regular basis on a Saturday or Sunday evening at Macclesfield Leisure Centre or Thursday evenings at Lymm.

Pre-Requisites

Minimum age of 10 (8 and 9 year olds who want to join in the fun can complete the Bubblemaker session and are restricted to the shallow end of the pool.

Medical: You need to be in good health, all students will need to fill in a PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to participation. Link
