Farnes Islands - Mid Week
Hard Boat Diving
Seahouses, Northumberland
The Farnes are a group of Islands situated off the Northumberland Coast – famous for their colonies of birds and diver-friendly seals and situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The waters are rich in sea life and wrecks and the natural shelter of the islands gives good protection for diving on different states of the tide.
For the non-diver there are many places of interest – Northumbria’s fine castles of Bamburgh and Alnwick are nearby as is the Holy Isle of Lindisfarne and the bird and seal sanctuaries of the Farnes themselves. We shall be staying in local B&B’s or hotels.
