Underwater Navigator

This one day course will introduce you to the techniques of finding your way around underwater. Using your manual and video and on the surface before the dives, you will learn about and practise the art of natural and compass navigation. Then you will be given the opportunity to develop these skills on two open water dives.

• Understand your compass
• Develop skills of natural navigation
• Discover & use the Nav-Finder
• Find out how to take bearings
• Practise how to return to your last point underwater

Not only is this a great course, but as a PADI Specialty, it also counts towards your Master Scuba Diver rating.

MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR COURSE:

• Specialty Diver Crew-Pak including DVD or video

MATERIALS PROVIDED FOR COURSE:

• Air fills
• Teaching aids – Nav Finders, buoys etc
• Certification

MATERIALS YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Full SCUBA gear (available for hire at half normal price)
• Slate & pencil
• Your own logbook

PRE-REQUISITES:

• Minimum Age: 12 years
• Minimum Certification: (Junior) Open Water
